Juventus forward Paulo Dybala has decided that he wants to join AC Milan if he is to remain in Italy beyond the end of the season, a report claims.
Today’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive) reports that a move to a top Premier League side is Dybala’s dream at the moment, but at the moment he has already rejected the enquiries that have come from Arsenal and Newcastle United.
The duo have knocked on the door of his entourage but Dybala does not seem convinced of such destinations, so while he is waiting for new clubs in the race, he could consider the destination of Milan. The paper claims that the Rossoneri would be the favoured landing spot of the Argentine because he is an admirer of the project.
It will not be easy, given La Joya’s high contractual demands and the international competition. Even Beppe Marotta – the man who brought him to Juventus – made an attempt to sign him for Inter but seems to have pulled back precisely for economic reasons.
This would be a statement signing, if only he would consider slashing his salary demand
The only position he can fill is CAM but I’m not sure he has proper skills for that
What? 😀 Have you watched him play?
Nah he’s a complete player. He’s been kicking ass in Italy a long time and been very good in many formations and styles under multiple coaches.
I know his wage demands will probably be too high but if Milan could find a way he would single handedly revolutionize the quality of the attack.
Bien sur tout a fait d’accord avec vous je pense que Milan aurait beaucoup à gagner en le faisant signer
He will be a very very good signing for our AM (10) the only problem will be the wages
No brainer if the wage demands are down a bit. And if he really prefers Milan because he likes the project that shouldn’t be an issue. More money to buy RW.
This kid can play. Unfortunately,he has wasted his years at Juve. If the salary will fit this “project” it is a must.
I disagree that he would only be fit for the CAM position… because in fact, his favorite thing to do/favorite way to score is starting on the right side and cutting inside to his favorite left foot to shoot those curlers inside the far/left post (a la Arjen Robben… or our poor man’s Robben we had for years, Suso). Given that our RW position completely sucks w/ Messias and Saele, Dybala taking that spot would be a dream signing — but of course he is expensive so I very much doubt it would happen.
Dybala did play CAM in the most recent Juventus match; but in the two matches before (Salernitana and Villareal in Champions League), he played on the right side — right forward in a 4-4-2; and right wing in a 5-man midfield). And this is typical of Dybala for years now — he can play both CAM and RW; but I believe he prefers RW.
