DzBallon: Saudi club offer Bennacer €15m/yr – Milan await bid around €40m

Ismaël Bennacer has received a huge salary offer from a club in Saudi Arabia that could result in some late mercato movement for AC Milan, a report claims.

According to the latest from DzBallon in his native Algeria, Bennacer is ‘at the heart of intense speculation about his future’ because Saudi clubs – who are ‘ready to pay astronomical sums’ – are said to be eyeing the midfielder.

A particularly tempting offer has been made by the Al Qadsiah, the source claims, as the Saudi Pro League side are willing to pay Bennacer an annual salary of €15m, a dizzying sum that will quadruple his current pay.

This financial proposal, and an ambitious sporting project, could prove irresistible for the player. Despite having been at Milan for half a decade and having an important role for all that time, the offer could prove too good to refuse, both for the player and the club.

For Bennacer, the opportunity to earn such a big amount and to join the project of a team coached by former Real Madrid star Mitchel is very tempting. They have the likes of Nacho (former Real Madrid defender) and Pierre-Emerick Aubamyang in their ranks too.

Milan have already started to consider replacements for Bennacer, with Manu Kone the main name linked. The report concludes by stating that a substantial transfer fee of around €40m is what the management expect to get for the former Empoli man.
