El Chiringuito: Sergio Ramos speaks to Maldini about joining Milan – his huge demands outlined

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan technical director Paolo Maldini has had a conversation with Sergio Ramos, who asked for a huge salary in order to join.

Real Madrid have confirmed that Ramos will leave the club after 16 years of services, during which he has played 671 games, scored 101 goals, won five LaLiga titles and four Champions League titles. His next destination remains a mystery though despite strong links with Paris Saint-Germain and the Premier League.

According to what is being reported by El Chiringuito, Ramos asked Maldini for €20m as a signing-on bonus in order to join the Rossoneri, which given the club’s stance regarding renewals and commissions to agents seems to already be excessive.

Not only that, but Milan would have to blow their wage budget out of the water to sign the Spaniard as he asked for €15m per season in order to start a new adventure in Italy, as per the source.

Those numbers are utter rubbish for current Milan team lol. I doubt any team would pay that amount, maybe except Qatar/oil country/Chinese teams.

  2. Winn says:

Milan is stupid if they pay world record own goals scorer, records sent off, overrated, mistake-prone, and nastiest defender of all time . I won’t spend 1 dollar for him even in his prime.

  3. Madiba says:

The fee can be outrageous and not a terms current Milan can filled but take it or leave Ramos is purely one of the greatest CB of all time..whether he is nasty or mistake prone, his Stats prove that he is one of the best.Maldini can actually testify to that..Spainish team are currently suffering in euro because they lack a leader like Ramos in that team.If a CB can score 101goals for a club..

  4. Gary says:

He is a legend but well past his prime. Old, slow and injury-prone. Not even worth $5M/year. Signing bonus? LOL. Mark my words, he will announce his retirement this summer when he realizes that no club will pay him.
