El Gol Digital: Adli’s name emerges in talks between Milan and Villarreal over winger

A report in Spain has made the claim that AC Milan have offered up Yacine Adli as a counterpart to try and get Samuel Chukwueze for cheaper.

According to a report from El Gol Digital, Milan have made an offer worth €20m for Chukwueze but Villarreal want to sign a loan player in the operation to meet their short-term needs and Adli is the man put forward.

The inclusion of Adli in the operation would allow Villarreal to have an extra player for the midfield, with the Franco-Algerian judged to be perfect for Quique Setién’s tactical approach.

For the moment there is no agreement between the clubs, but if Adli were to head to LaLiga it would be an important opportunity for him to get some consistent playing time in a top flight league which he did not get last season.

Villarreal are not only aiming to obtain financial compensation for the sale of Chukwueze, but also to obtain a player with a bright future who could be useful for next season. It is reiterated that it would be a loan for the former Bordeaux man.
