El Nacional: Milan considering 2024 bid for Barcelona-owned forward

Barcelona are planning for life without Ansu Fati and AC Milan seem to be one of the clubs keen on making an offer in 2024, a report claims.

El Nacional report that Barca boss Xavi does not have much trust in the abilities of Fati, and thus the decision was made to loan him to Brighton for the season where he now hopes to recover top form and show why he was and is such a highly-rated talent.

He has scored one goal under Roberto de Zerbi thus far, and the 20-year-old forward wants to dispel doubts that he can become one of the leaders of the project at Barcelona. The signing of Joao Félix, the emergence of Lamine Yamal and the upcoming arrival of Vítor Roque put that in doubt.

Barca consider Ansu Fati to be sellable and there are three clubs keen on him, the first of which are Sevilla. Their director Víctor Orta believes that he is a gamble worth taking, and the club have pursued him for some time.

In addition to the Andalusians, Milan and West Ham United are also keeping an eye on Ansu and are considering presenting an offer in 2024 to acquire his services on a permanent basis, but the asking price is €30-40m.
