El Nacional: Real Madrid forward wants Milan return as difficult situation develops

Brahim Diaz wants to return to AC Milan as his playing time at Real Madrid risks being minimal, according to a report from Spain.

According to El Nacional, Arda Güler has convinced Carlo Ancelotti that he should get more opportunities having put his injury issue behind him, and Real Madrid view him as an investment given he is just 18 years old and the room for improvement is enormous.

One of the main players affected will be Brahim Díaz, who once again trusted Real Madrid and opted to return and be part of this season’s squad, but little by little he is seeing how the promises of prominence have been pushed aside and now he is back to being on the bench.

The playmaker knows he won’t have many options to shine and even less in a high-level match. If his situation does not improve, he could consider leaving Real Madrid again next January or in the summer of 2024.

In a recent report, the same source said that they will not stand in the way of Brahim should he ask to leave but at the moment they are happy to keep him, asking for €30-35m in order to sell.

The Spaniard would like to return to Italy and to Milan, but at the moment the operation is economically unviable, which means his future could be in the Premier League where the most interested club is Arsenal.
