Tuttosport: Elliott want to leave Milan with a bang – they would fund De Ketelaere deal

Elliott Management are determined to leave AC Milan with a bang and they are likely to foot the bill for the next summer signing, a report claims.

Milan officially confirmed RedBird Capital’s takeover of the club back on June 1 after Elliott Management decided to sell the majority of their shares. The club announced the highly-anticipated deal on their website, and the statement said that the transition to the new ownership will take place over the summer with an expected closing date of no later than September 2022.

Today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) has a section headlined with the following: “Elliott want to leave Milan with a bang”. Before selling the majority of the club to RedBird, the American fund and the Singer family would like to close their time at the Rossoneri with a big market signing in De Ketelaere, which would one of the most expensive in their tenure.
