Elliott Management will guarantee the management a good budget for the summer to help Stefano Pioli strengthen his squad, a report claims.
Calciomercato.it report that Milan are looking to strengthen with four signings, the first of which is Sven Botman from Lille. An agreement over personal terms has been found at €3m net per season thanks to the benefit of the Growth Decree tax relief scheme, with Milan hoping to close a deal for around €30m.
There there is Renato Sanches, who Milan tried to bring to Italy as early as January but without success. The Portuguese midfielder is the one who has been chosen to replace Franck Kessie, and talks are on with his agent Jorge Mendes to hopefully strike a €20m deal.
Milan will also focus on signing a new winger because they believe Yacine Adli and Brahim Diaz will be enough for the No.10 role, with Renato Sanches able to play there too, so the Domenico Berardi dream remains alive. Paolo Maldini knows that within a group, the Italian component is fundamental and Pioli’s team needs it.
Finally, a new striker is expected to arrive and it could be that they opt to sign Andrea Belotti on a free. His deal expires on June 30th and he certainly represents a market opportunity, especially if they spend more than €70m on a defender, midfielder and winger.
That is why it seems difficult to imagine that the club could decide to invest another €40-50m on a striker, but Jonathan David of Lille, Hugo Ekitike of Reims and Amine Gouiri of Nice remain in the background to strengthen the attack.
