In the early hours of this morning, it has been reported that defender Emerson Royal is likely to leave AC Milan to return to Brazil.
With Emerson, and more specifically transfers, it has never been simple. When Milan first wanted him, they took a while to make a decision and then returned to the Tottenham Hotspur defender to bring him permanently.

Then, in January, his exit was just as farcical. A lot of interest, a nearly agreed deal, and then a completely unnecccasary injury in the Champions League, laughable.
From there, there have been several reports suggesting that he has been close to an exit this summer. Real Betis and Besiktas have both lead, but it seems neither will get the full-back.
Emerson: Back to Brazil
According to Fabrizio Romano this morning, the Brazilian has agreed to join Flamengo and has accepted their proposal. With this, the journalist states a deal is expected today, with things well advanced.
This morning’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport adds that a permanent deal could finalise around the €9-10 million mark, only €5m less than what was paid in the summer of 2024. An offer is expected from the Brazilian club today, with confidence only increasing.

Funny thing is that famous Fabrizio Romano lost a bit of his credibility on… Emerson Royal xD he announced Here We Go to Besiktas, just so Emerson changed his mind to go to Brazil
Yeah it was a bit funny.
But technically he wasn’t wrong. Beşiktaş DID agree with Emerson Royal and a medical was booked, it just so happened that Flamengo managed to hijack the deal even after that.
But his “Here we go” happened too soon this time.

To give a bit of a break and credit to Royal, he was at least willing to leave as soon as it was clear Milan no longer wanted him (he could actually have left during the winter if Sérgio Conceição didn’t have the genius idea to start him and thus getting him injured).
We’re still stuck with Origi because he deciced that taking money without doing anything is better than playing football.
Well… IF Emerson really goes away, I’ll thank him for doing so. That will make many fans happy.

Thank GOD. One of the worst transfers in recent history, and what worse is literally EVERYONE told them this would fail, but the clowns upstairs top thought they were being clever. Now they take yet another loss on the books.
Now we get wonder if we’ll actually sign a RB, given that currently we have 0 at the club… unless we’re sticking to a back 3, we need to pull out the damn checkbook and get in some players. 1 striker and 0 RBs at the club, what AMAZING planning these guys have done the past year…
