AC Milan are trying to offload multiple players that are not deemed a part of the plans, and interest for two has arrived from Saudi Arabia.
Milan have already completed one bit of business involving a club from the Saudi Pro League, as Theo Hernandez completed a move to Al-Hilal earlier in the week. Now, clubs from the same country could offer a solution to two more problems.
Adli and Bennacer in demand
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Ismael Bennacer and Yacine Adli’s careers could continue abroad. Clubs in Saudi Arabia are conducting inquiries about the two Milan midfielders, who have returned from their respective loan spells at Marseille and Fiorentina.
The Algerian made 12 appearances and provided two assists in Ligue 1 with Roberto De Zerbi’s team, while the Frenchman made 35 appearances for Fiorentina, scoring five goals including one against his parent club.
Both are clearly not deemed a part of the plans under Allegri. Adli was told to report for training from Monday July 14 with Milan Futuro, so he will not even get a look in preseason, while Bennacer was given extended vacation. The message has been sent: the sooner both find new clubs the better, for all involved.

Sell Bennacer before he gets any more injury and blocks Milan’s payroll for another year.
If we sell both for 25-30 mil, it would be like a dream
That’s combined right? not each one 25-30m? At this point just get then off the books. To free up wages for some new fodder.
more likely we can get close to 10mn for each, so 15-20mn total
At this stage we have to take it, if they’re frozen out we arent in a strong bargaining position and no need to keep them around for an extra season.
Good luck with selling them because they won’t move to ksa. Bennacer might but…..I don’t think so
Horrible treatment of two extremely loyal and passionate servants. Exactly what we expect from this club now and very far from what A.C Milan was. Banter era or before Milanisti were treated with respect
To think Modric at 39 can be serviceable but not Bennacer is a bit mind boggling. Even if we get 15 to 20 games out of Bennacer, using him as a super spub, at a good level, where he plays safe and doesn’t get hurt, we can make more use of him than 12 million in transfer fees and saving 4.5 million euros.
Does anyone think a player for 16.5 million euros this summer will outperform him?
How about a 25 million euros for Theo? He at 7.5 x 4 is 30 million euros. Without a Eudogie or Tavares, what will we really obtain in value? We were offering 4 x 4, Saving 14 million euros over 4 years to bet on finding a better player? Good luck.
People have completely blanked on the fact that Bennacer forced a transfer out in January. The dude is already gone. Sorry folks.
Bennacer renewal is one of the worst decisions Milan has made.
Right now, there is not much difference between Origi and Bennacer. Useless players who are just a burden on the payroll that you can’t get rid of because no one wants to take them of Milans’ hands and pay them their ridiculous salaries.
Adli should have been given an opportunity to fight for a place in the team.
Clubs’ treatment to injured players has recently gotten worse. I still remember how Pippo missed almost an entire season during Milan scudetto rally in 2004 and took some time to regain his form. He even missed an empty net (like Torres did at Chelsea) in his return game. Imagine he played today.. the club would immediately dispose him.
Are you a Milan covering journalist struggling for a story that day? Do you really want to pop to the bar for the afternoon but none of your sources (the Milanello tea lady and Rade Krunic’s agent) are giving you something to print?
No problem!
Just link one of your team’s players to Saudi Arabia. Job done. Enjoy your macchiato and biscotti.
Seriously, you’ve been running this same story every month for two years now.
Adli is better than RLC and we are keeping hold of him ffs. I’d take Bennacer over him as well. RLC is a master of drifting around the outskirts of a game whilst looking like he is getting involved, no end product and then second half of the season injured. It’s a disgrace that players like that have ever worn the shirt. Shows complete lack of desire to improve the squad, although we know why and things will never change whilst these owners have their way. They have succeeded in tarnishing the name of the club and it will take years to recover.
