Enzo Raiola: “Bonaventura? There will be no renewal” – source claims Juventus are involved

Giacomo Bonaventura will not renew his contract with AC Milan and will leave at the end of the season, according to his agent’s cousin Enzo Raiola.

A recent report from Calciomercato.com claimed that the 30-year-old’s future at Milan is under serious doubt as a renewal is currently ‘difficult’.

After a resurgence following his return from injury, Bonaventura was lacklustre against Sassuolo, unimpressive in the 5-0 defeat against Atalanta, ineffectual against Cagliari and the same in Sunday’s win over Udinese.

During an exclusive interview with ilmilanista.it, Enzo Raiola – the cousin of Bonaventura’s agent Mino Raiola – dropped a bombshell regarding the midfielder’s future.

“Bonaventura? There will be no renewal. As long as there are no sensational changes, he will leave in June.”

Interestingly, transfer source Louis Girardi claims that the decision not to renew Bonaventura’s deal comes from the his demands to be sold to Juventus two years ago.

In the end, his knee injury and the surgery required blocked the move from taking place, and Juventus sealed the signing of Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal instead.
