ESPN: Milan boosted in defender pursuit as Man Utd aim to secure €100m in revenue

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been given a boost in their hopes of landing Diogo Dalot as Manchester United need to sell some players, according to a report.

It has been reported extensively over the past few weeks that Milan want to sign a new deputy to Davide Calabria and that the priority is securing the return of Dalot after his loan spell with the Rossoneri last season.

According to the latest from ESPN (via MilanNews), Manchester United have begun to think about the outgoing market after spending big money on winger Jadon Sancho and on centre-back Raphael Varane, with the aspirations of building a squad for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that can win trophies.

At least €100million is wanted from the disposals of four players that are not part of the Red Devils’ plans: namely Jesse Lingard, Phil Jones, Anthony Martial and Diogo Dalot, which obviously gives the Rossoneri a boost in their hopes of signing him.
