After pre-season assessments, Pervis Estupinan is now available on the mercato once again and AC Milan are open.
Throughout the back end of last season, Milan were pretty sold on the idea that Estupinan would be sold in the summer and there was enough interest to not have to worry. However, there has only been one interested suitor in the left-back this summer and they were pushed away effectively.

Estupinan can go
As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, via MilanNews, the Rossoneri will now listen to ‘any offers’ that arrive for Estupinan after the Ecuadorian failed to convince Amorim during the first ‘half’ of the pre-season tour.
A move to Aston Villa has now gone cold, too, so hope will be needed for another party coming forward with an offer for the wing-back. However, the fact that ‘any’ offer will be listened to suggests that there is little hope that the fee will be matched.
Things can obviously get back on track with the Villains. Neverhtheless, considering how likely it was that Estupinan was going to leave before the summer, it is disappointing that we are back at the same point a few months on.
If no one else comes forward, it’ll go down as one of the bigger regrets in recent times.

The first day Amorim was on the job he should have asked for film on each of the players he didn’t know. The staff could have given him 30 min of video on each player and in a day Amorim would have been able to make his cuts.
Exactly. I’ll be amazed if this hire works out. All they had to do was keep Tare and bring in Glasner, but Cardinale tried to appease the fans by firing everyone, then they hired data guys and went ahead and blew €70 million on Ramos.
So there’s two scenarios for where we’re at: either Amorim saw that he was good in training and didn’t do well in matches (in which case it’s still up to Amorim to bridge that gap) or he was terrible in training and terrible in games as well in which case we should have sold him when we had a chance if he saw him already doing badly in training. The whole thing is a mess…. We’re 2 weeks away from season start and the close of the transfer window, and he’s only now figured out his assessments. And the player arrived back early to preseason too so he has had ample time to see him. Come on get a grasp Como fan!

Ruggeri is going to Aston Villa which is from Birmingham. I don’t think (that) that idea had even crossed their mind, unfortunately. Spinazzola had renewed his contract six weeks ago.
So to replace an avrage player your response is to replace him win an injury prone avrage italian. Makes pefect sense.
Spinazolla played a lot last season and he is a big upgrade over Estupinian too.

Well I knew that Estupinan can’t play practically a winger. Anyone here knew. Amorim didn’t. He doesn’t have internet and couldn’t rewatch Milan games from last season, so we can’t blame him. The man is trying really hard. 😀 If he spent 3 days before preseason and just rewatched 10 games from last season he’d know most of the things he needed to know. But why would he do that? You’ll be praying for Allegri soon.

Obviously, he doesn’t watch serie a. The duration of the world also complicated things for a lot of coaches and clubs. It’s more complicated at Milan because a lot of the players performed below par last season. Even if we had gotten Glasner, we would most likely be facing the same situation because of the world schedule. I don’t think any Milan fan ever imagined the management would employ Amorim. So, whatever negative results come from his time with us, it’s theirs to handle.

First of all, we don’t have a proper management who knows exactly what they want. To sell Estupinan no matter what Amorim want to evaluate or not. We sell abd that’s it. Use Saelemaekers and Bartesaghi in the left position.
