Moretto: Estupinan ‘one step away’ from Aston Villa move with personal terms agreed

It seems AC Milan are nearing their first sale of the summer, with Pervis Estupinan heading back to the Premier League with Aston Villa.

Already this summer, Milan have spent heavily in the mercato, so it is about time that they start to focus on the outgoing market. Of course, several players who can leave, but arranging departures is proving to be a little tough.

Nevertheless, they have managed to get a deal close already and it would be for Estupinan, who is almost certain to reunite with his former Villarreal manager, Unai Emery, in the Premier League. With the expected sale of Lucas Digne, they have looked to the Ecuadorian and a move is very close now.

This afternoon, Matteo Moretto has provided a brief but telling update. Retweeting a post specifying that the personal terms had been agreed between the Villains and the left-back, he offered a simple statement on X.

“Pervis Estupiñán one step away from Aston Villa.”
