More good news has arrived on the renewal front for AC Milan as an agreement has been reached with Tijjani Reijnders too, a report claims.
Reijnders arrived at Milan from AZ Alkmaar in the 2023 summer transfer window and has been nothing short of outstanding, quickly establishing himself as undroppable and becoming the creative heart of the team under Stefano Pioli, Paulo Fonseca and Sergio Conceicao.
He has 15 goals and seven assists in 86 games for the Rossoneri across all competitions, with 11 of those goals coming this season. This has earned Reijnders links with the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid, who he scored against in the Champions League.
However, in a post on his X profile, Matteo Moretto of Relevo gave the following update regarding the Dutch midfielder: ‘Tijjani Reijnders will sign with Milan until 2030. Everything agreed between the parties’.
It is certainly positive news from Milan to be able to get a long-term commitment from the Netherlands international and it should ward off interest from some elite clubs abroad.
As a reminder, Moretto also revealed yesterday that the directors have found an agreement with Mike Maignan too over a two-year extension that will see him become among the highest-paid players.
Honestly, hes worthy more than that…he’s the only one moving the midfield.
So… Are you implying that the management made a superb deal for getting his signature? They got him cheaper than anyone though they could? 😀
Tijjani is a steal and day-light robbery from az aikmaar…
It’s a shame that he’s forced into deep role when he’s so amazing up front…
Good news but still some people here only find negative stuff to say 🤣
Forza Milan and Tiji ❤🖤
