CorSera: The exact amount Milan were sold for by Elliott Management to RedBird

The exact price that AC Milan were sold for during the transfer of ownership from Elliott Management to RedBird Capital has been confirmed, a report claims.

According to the online version of the newspaper Corriere della Sera, there is once again talk regarding the transfer of Milan from Elliott to RedBird with minority shareholder Blue Skye having raised aggrievances about how the sale process was conducted.

The article contains some clarifications regarding the exact price of the sale, which was a total of ‘1,123,036,449.06 euros, in a combination of cash for 533,036,349.06 euros and loan notes issued by the buyer’.

It confirms therefore that the total price for the acquisition of Milan was €1.123bn, while just under half of it was paid for by RedBird and the other portion is made up of a loan, which is well-known to be a vendor loan from Elliott to RedBird of around €590m as per the figures.
