Ahead of the summer, a lot has been suggested about Francesco Camarda’s future and what is ahead for the AC Milan youngster.

Assessing Camarda’s situation is difficult. Thrown into the limelight at 15, he has never delivered what was expected of him from such a young age. Of course, that is not to say that he never will. However, he has not propelled forward.

In Serie A this season, he has not shone and whilst that could be to do with the quality of his teammates, things haven’t gone as planned. So, it seems that all parties will return to the table this summer to discuss his future.

Camarda’s future in view

One route forward would see the starlet head to Sassuolo on loan, where Fabio Grosso has recorded some fantastic results. Of course, this could also be used to strengthen a deal for the Rossoneri to sign Ismael Kone.

A loan transfer is the suggestion and with Grosso managing one of the youngest squads in the division, it could be a fantastic place for him to grow. After all, there are some key members of his squad that have developed fantastically under the Italian’s watch.

Furthermore, there is the opportunity to see how Grosso uses his strikers and whether this would suit Camarda. Having seen the Italian grow up, the Milan management should know exactly what he will need in terms of playing style. So, assessments can be made.

On Sunday, then, there could be a chance to view Grosso and how Camarda could have a role within his team. Additionally, there may also be the chance to discuss the futures of Kone and Camarda, with any management members in attendance.

  1. In 3-5-2, you simply need to have 4-5 forwards and 2 of them have to be pure strikers. It’s not exactly the same thing when you have Jesus or Zirkzee and someone like Nkunku, Leao or e.g. Okafor, it’s solely the question of an adequate pairing in the attack and creating the right and proper tandem.
