Fabrizio Romano confirms Milan are working towards double deal with Roma and Chelsea

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are working on securing a double deal in the next few days to give head coach Stefano Pioli some much needed reinforcements.

According to the latest from Fabrizio Romano, Milan are working on two separate fronts, the first being an attempt to secure the return of Tiemoué Bakayoko from Chelsea. Talks are ongoing to reach an agreement on a loan deal, as per Romano.

Meanwhile, he adds that the Alessandro Florenzi negotiations are now at the final stages between AS Roma and Milan, and he confirms that the 30-year-old Italy international should join on loan with an option to buy in favour of the Rossoneri.

Milan could therefore secure two key depth pieces ahead of an important season, as the double swoop would solve the back-up right-back position, while Bakayoko would be a welcome reinforcement for the midfield given Kessie and Bennacer will be away in January at the African Cup of Nations.
