Brest star admits ‘contacts’ over ‘dream’ PSG move as Milan hypothesis fades

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan may well miss out on Romain Faivre as the Brest winger has confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain are in talks with his agent and he would be open to the move.

La Gazzetta dello Sport are among the sources that have reported this month that Milan are considering going back in for Faivre either this month or in the summer. The Frenchman remains a temptation for Milan, especially as Brest have opened to the idea of a sale for a figure of around €15m, as per the paper.

If Samu Castillejo were to leave, perhaps the scenario would change and Milan could invest in that role, as they would welcome a player with 19 appearances, 8 goals and 6 assists this season.

It seems as though Faivre is moving further and further away from Milan’s grasp at the moment though, because the player himself has once again given an excitable interview about his future and a potential move, this time to the microphones of Canal +.

“Playing for PSG? There have been contacts with my agents. It’s a dream, it’s my city, my family and friends are there,” he said (via PianetaMilan).

  1. Fucking Milan stupid ,he is a good player much better then Alexis and Diaz and for only 15 million horrible by the management and yes he is some what of champions league quality

    1. Blame Faivre you dumbass, not Milan. The guy skipped training session with Brest and talked too much in the interview about he made contact with Milan and ready to move club. Brest found out and they blocked Milan from negotiating.

    2. Or he may be another overrated French player with low work ethic

We got the good ones in Kalulu and Theo. There are many french flops in prem league

      1. What the heck are you talking about?? Overrated? Low work ethic? You sound like a clown and obviously have not watched him play. This kids work rate is excellent and his skill rivals the best in the French league. Check the stats and stop spreading garbage. It’s fine if you don’t want us to sign him – we probably won’t – but get your facts straight at least. For me the stats don’t lie and neither does the tape. Faivre would be a HUGE upgrade over Castillejo and Salesmakers – and for only 15M….this should be a no brainer – and he WANTS to come to Milan and can play RW and ACM. Perfect signing IMO especially for the price.

        1. No, i checked him out.

The kind of fan you are is hyped over every secobd young player

I remember when i wanted Tevez and all were happy when in next window we got Pato. Saying he is as good as Ronaldo

That is why i continue to be unimpressed with Messias. While i appreciate his story, he has old school dribbling, wide and easy to read. But most importantly is limited in reading the game.

When will you learn to think.
Faivre is unproven. His stats are good but even players now criticize idiots who look at stats only while not reading the game – Benzema recently was laughing at such fans. I call them fm fans.

I already gave you examples that many french players flop. So far none of good clubs showed real interest in him, we will see if psg really does.

And again the way i see the team, classic rw is not needed. We need more defensive one so leao can focus fully on creating chances

          1. Tevez? Pato? LOL. Your funny buddy. Good luck kid sounds like you need it. I guess you can “read the game” better than the scouts can LOL. As for a defensive RW – what do you think Salesmakers is? You obviously watch many games. RW is our weakest position. Attacking on only one side of the pitch limits our attack. You don’t seem to know much about football pal. But yes keep thinking your a transfer genius because you “picked” Tevez over Pato LOLOLOLO

  2. 15 million is not a big deal to spend for potential future star. If he cannot play well, then you can always sell him for the same price any time.

  3. This kid talk too much, imagine he is talking like this while he is playing for Milan. We had enough with the likes of kessie, dollar, and hakan. On some day he said he wanted to play for Milan, next PSG, probably next is Barcelona, or Manchester City or LA galaxy whatever. He is a good player, but easily become a sell out player

    1. I agree with you.
People think clubs only buy because of skill. But there is the psykologi part of it too.

Maybe he Comes and destroys the spirit in locker room.

  4. You guys are losing your minds over this kid lmfaooooo like he’s gonna come in and take us to the promise land… I agree with q and Jan 💯 as he would be a huge upgrade on our rw and with versatility to play as a #10 also for a cheap price 1st it is unknown if he would succeed in serie A and his attitude and mouth might not be worth the risk as he could destroy our team commorodrery. You kids need to relax and have faith in the management as they have brought us back to a respectable level and will continue to ascend us in the right direction without getting us into FFP trouble
