Falk: Bayern will pursue move for Hernandez if Davies joins Real Madrid

By Euan Burns -

Bayern Munich are planning to pursue a move for AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez if they have to sell Alphonso Davies to Real Madrid this summer.

According to German journalist Christian Falk on X, the Bundesliga champions are preparing for a situation in which they will not have Canadian fullback Davies.

There have been reports claiming that Davies already has an agreement in place with Real Madrid for a summer move, but a recent meeting between the player’s agent and Bayern’s sporting director did not confirm whether this is the case or not.

It is said that if Davies and Bayern are unable to agree on a new contract, the German side will cut their losses and agree on a move to Real Madrid.

That would leave them in need of a new left-back and their first target would be Hernandez, in what would be a major blow to Milan given his importance to the team.

Lucas Hernandez, Theo’s brother, used to play at Bayern but did not manage to show his best. He has since moved to PSG and is playing much better, so Milan could perhaps hope that Hernandez will not entertain a move to the Bundesliga side based on his brother’s experience.

  1. Buy Calafiori, Ricci, Buongiorno, Carnesecchi, Orsolini, Casadei, Zirkzee, maybe it’s too good to be true, but with that hefty fund, we can build brand new team with new coach ofc 😀

    1. Yes! Do this! we’ll have a team fighting for 6th place in Serie A! Wouldn’t that be interesting?

With a few hundred million we could buy all the average players from Serie A.

You know how our team would be better? 11 Reijnders. No one can pass, shoot, score or play defense.

Now THAT will make our team better.

Milan should be competing for CL not playing footsie with Bologna and Torino players. Why do you want to turn Milan into a mid table team?

      1. If we want to win UCL and serie A respectively, we shoud buy top stars, like Lautaro Martinez, Barella, Bastoni, Di marco, Haaland, Bellingham, Bremer, but those will need twice or triple the fund 😀

  2. Man, Real Madrid is building one hell of a team.
Mbappe, Vini, Bellingham, Rodrygo, Camavinga, Tchouameni, Valverde, Militao, Arda Guler, Endrick, even Brahim Diaz, now Alphonso Davies too, all 26 or younger. Plus Courtois , Rudiger and Alaba are just 30-31. Led by Carlo Ancelotti.
Good luck to the rest of the football world.

      1. In the Galacticos era Real Madrid was just buying big names not paying attention how they fit with each other.
They had too many of the same kind of players. Kaka had no role in that team and he was outshined by Ozil.
This new team is way more balanced, players are way more compatible.
You have the 3 skilled, creative players up top, backed up by hard working midfielders like Camavinga, Valverde, Tchouameni and Kroos who is only 34, and very good defenders in front of probably the best GK in today’s game. The only weak spot IMO is the RB position with Carvajal and Lucas Vasquez.

        1. Exactly buying big names for the sake of it makes you like Man U. This RM looks ready to go on a decade long run filled with trebles

    1. Man City vs Real Madrid is going to be the biggest games in the next 5 year, inter and psg probably dark horse to disrupt them, bayern and barca if they recover. Sadly Milan looks miles away

  3. I think dad as it may be, we need to brave ourselves for some major departures and changes this summer. Directors need to be proactive to keep things under control. I can see 2 to 4 top players leaving.

  4. If you want to be a team that wins trophies, than you have to have some players who are unselablle. Teo is ireplacable. If they sell him then whats the point of this team ? I told you before that american ownership is always just for profit. They don’t give a damn about the club.

    1. I agree mate, Theo and Rafa should be no sells. Ok lets say best case scenario we get 275m, then every average player goes up 30m because we have money. The drop off from losing that left side will be huge. It is worth way more to us than 275m

  5. If we want to win UCL and serie A respectively, we shoud buy top stars, like Lautaro Martinez, Barella, Bastoni, Di marco, Haaland, Bellingham, Bremer, but those will need twice or triple the fund 😀
