Goncalo Ramos opened his account for the Rossoneri, assisted by Saelemaekers, and the Belgian then helped Ardon Jashari force an own-goal from the Venezia defence. There were some players who didn’t impress as much, though.

Saelemaekers was the MOTM according to your votes, reaching 7.3/10 with 277 ratings submitted. Gila was just behind him at 7, while the No.9 Ramos only got a 6.6 rating due to the chances missed in that first half. The worst was Loftus-Cheek, by far, as he was rated at 5.1.
Gila was far too aggressive in his defending, especially in the first half. Left huge spaces behind him, at least twice…7 is far to high.
thats true , but his ball playing taht only he can do in the back line speaks for itself and only 1 moment was it actually dangerous for us. the aggressiveness is neede for amorims system

The hell are you talking about. You can’t just make up things my friend and think people are going to believe you, and in our Scudetto season, Romagnoli only started 16 league matches and they weren’t in midfield, he started less games than Pierre Kalulu, in midfield the Kessie/Krunic/Tonali/Bennacer partnership all played +35 matches in the double pivot.

Sallad was really good when he came on. He must start ahead of Cisse or R-L-C next game (he and Rabiot must both start).
Ramos also deserves a better grade. Should have had a second goal, but worked hard all game and do alot of useful things with his pressing and constant movement
The result proves that the team has a bench capable of compensating, but it requires rearranging the midfield cards before facing the fiercer opponents.

Start of season is always tricky after a WC. Late new player arrivals, key players start the season late etc.
Now we have baged 2 wins with half a first choice starting 11, a new coach and new key players.
If we can avoid losses vs Juventus and Lazio away it will be a good start to the new project.
