With AC Milan playing their worst football of the season, questions about Massimiliano Allegri are louder than ever and rightly so.
As the end of the season draws nearer, there is not even a sense of sorrow about the year coming to an end. In fact, there is an anticipation for it. After another dismal season, Milan are crawling to the finish line and they do not really deserve the mercy of that.

Ultimately, they have been far below the standard expected. Even the standard they set for themselves this season was higher than this.
So questions are being asked about Allegri like never before, but he is far from being alone. It appears questions are being asked of everyone, but it feels that his position is the most in doubt.
Farioli to replace Allegri?
Speaking to SportMediaset on Italia Uno, Claudio Raimondi discussed what would happen if the Diavolo were not in the top four at the end of the season and it would include Allegri’s departure, MilanNews relays.
“In the event of a departure, AC Milan would obviously have to find a new coach. Vincenzo Italiano’s name has been mentioned a lot, but he’s not the only one for the future of the Rossoneri: a highly sought-after candidate is Francesco Farioli, who won the Portuguese championship this year with Porto.
“The Italian coach is highly regarded and would propose a different style of football than Allegri. We’ll also have to keep an eye on what happens at the club. AC Milan fans strongly protested Giorgio Furlani yesterday, and it remains to be seen what RedBird and Gerry Cardinale intend to do with the Rossoneri’s management team.
“Right now, everything at AC Milan is under discussion, and yet another shakeup cannot be ruled out.”

I agree if farioli replace allegri
Why would the coach of Portugal champion come to this mess. I’m afraid Italiano is our limit…
@Shaggy Farioli is Italian LOL
because its still a bigger club, why do you even come here if you hate Milan so much?
Italiano is the limit? The guy who loses 6-0 to Aston Villa? Yeah right
No I we need a coach who understands Italian football and Europe and that coach is preferred to be Vincenzo Italiano he is the best candidate for the job Acmilan must not get it wrong this time.
That’s what everyone said about Allegri last summer
Does understanding Italian football mean the same deary stuff we see from Allegri. Let’s be honest, Italian football is a mess. Do you want to see more of it?
I agree let’s evaluate only farioli and Vincenzo Italiano any coach best should sign for Milan before series a match is over we don’t need Allegri anymore.
I agree with you on farioli
farioli is a young smart coach that play a compact defensive and attacking football.
Completely pointless. You can bring in any coach and no one will succeed because this club has no plan or structure. Just chaos.
I was talking about Farioli two summers ago when he went to Ajax. Now it’s too late, as usual. Why would he leave perennial Portuguese champions Porto, who will be in the CL next season to come to this mess, as Shaggy pointed out? If he continues to do well there next stop is the PL.
Because unlike what closet Inter fans like you think Milan is still a bigger destination than Portugal,
But how would you know? You hate everything about Serie A and Italy you probably think Italy is actually ranked 10th in the league rankings given your comment history.
Yes, he did great at Ajax. He was booted out of the club after a season and they can’t hear his name. I really hope he isn’t signed. Also Conceicao won over 10 trophies with Porto. How did he do?
If there is no change at the top and there is no clear vision for the club, then no good coach would join this clown show. No ambition coach wants to ruin their name with this clown fest at the top. They brought in tare who was out of work for a long time. Probably willing to.accept anything in order to get back in it. They brought in allegri who was out of work for a couple of years and came off 2 disastrous season at juve, sort of eager at the chance at getting back on.
Sarri
This from google:
“During the summer 2025 transfer window, FC Porto invested an unprecedented €94.35 million (with total market expenses of €111.35 million) on new squad reinforcements, making it the most expensive transfer market in the club’s history under manager Francesco Farioli. ”
Milan wants someone from winning champion to do it under Redbird? Porto spent so much.. LMAO
We need a coach who can adapt to European style, it’s not a must Milan win league in 4 season but a good performance in europe and to always qualify for champions league is a big goal. Allegri is a mess in fact all Italian coaches can’t Marchup with European style because they’re too defensive
