Felix

CM: Felix can only leave Chelsea on certain conditions – why a permanent move is preferred

AC Milan would like to add to their attacking line in the winter mercato and Joao Felix is the leading idea currently.

With the deal for Marcus Rashford stalling, reports suggested that Felix was being considered by Milan, especially with the good relationship with Jorge Mendes. However, the initial attempt was met with a no.

Today, the reasoning for this has been revealed. Calciomercato.com reports that the club see Felix as ‘expendable’ and an exit is not off the cards, far from it. However, there are already several players who are away from the club on loan, and Chelsea are close to reaching the limit with this.

Cesare Casadei could leave on loan with a guaranteed revenue to arrive at the end, whilst Nkunku could also create a better chance of revenue. Considering Felix arrived in the summer for a higher amount, a dry loan would probably be the Rossoneri’s option.

For Chelsea, who are looking for ‘definitive’ transfers to fund a move for Karim Adeyemi or Jamie Gittens, a loan move would serve little to no purpose.

Ultimately, Milan like the player, but whether they are willing to act on that admiration with a transfer offer seems unlikely at this stage.

  1. He was only brought in to trade FFP income with Atletico taking Conor Gallagher, he’s never been in Chelsea’s plans. And if they think his value is going to shoot up sat on their bench, they’ve got another thing coming (sadly, that thing might be Saudi funds from Mr Boehly’s Middle Eastern friends).

    1. João Félix was bought for a staggering E52 Million. But on transfermarket his value is E30 Million. In 20 Games he scored 7 Goals and 2 Assist in less than 1,000 Minutes. Maybe for E20 Million + Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Transfermarket value E20 Million might be good for both. Keith 🇲🇹

  2. Not Felix. He will ruin what chemistry we have. He has never been a winner in a top 5 leagues club. We already have two players we need to convince to buy into team concept. He does not pass. Which makes his team angry with him. We need a right back. Not this.

  3. Meanwhile Inter is getting Sucic from Dinamo. Hurts to say but their management is miles ahead of ours. Why is Kayode going to Brentford and not Milan? There are plenty of Italians who could improve this Milan squad.

    1. If Milan signed Sucic Milan, management would have been criticized for signing unknown players, projects, or “moneyball” signing, but since it’s inter, the move is getting praised.
People just want to complain for the sake of complaining.

      1. Well just because you doesn’t know a player doesn’t mean its an unknown player as such and even if some people would complain either way its a fairly lazy way of arguing. The player is young and is a Croatian International player even if I would prefer us signing Baturina instead. I wanted us to sign Mateo Kovacic when he was 17 years old and instead he ended up signing for Inter, bet you didn’t know him either back then.
Either way Susic hasnt signed for Inter yet but if he does at least Dynamo Zagreb will be weakened before our fixture.

          1. If you don’z know who Sucic is that is your lack of knowledge. We could also have signed Almada (Italian passport) for the nr 10, now he is in Lyon. There is plenty of talent in Serie A who would improve our squad like Frendrup for DM or Colpani for our AM positions. Why you think I complain for the sake of it? Look at Inter transfers in the past 2 years and look at ours. Inter did not spend as much as us I think. Inter’s bench would be our first teamers.
