When Joao Felix arrived at AC Milan in January, there was a feeling of optimism about his chances. However, those hopes quickly faded.
On his debut, there was a player on display who looked like he could change Milan’s fortunes. A player of skill and flair, with a hint of rawness that elevated his game slightly. Of course, we are speaking of Felix here.
In the games that followed, this player quickly faded, and since then, those dreams of Felix are a distant memory. Now, the Rossoneri are left with an option who provides a number on the teamsheet and little else, a story much like his other clubs.
Last night’s game against Atalanta was perhaps the most blatant example, with Gazzetta dello Sport stating his performance was ‘painful’; a harsh but true summary of his current position within the squad, and even himself.
It is a gamble which has not worked or paid off, and whilst that is partly not his fault, he also should contribute a little more, and bridge a gap where his teammates cannot. Ultimately, it is not a shock that the club are not going to sign him permanently this summer, a disappointing loan indeed.
AC
Im stealing this Felix thread to post a stat. Do you know how many Milan players have recorded an assist in Serie A this year? Only 10.
Do you know how many have recorded an assist for Inter? 20.
Roma -18
Bologna- 16.
Napoli and Atalanta -15,
Juventus and Lazio 14
We have 18 players who have logged at least 100 minutes who have ZERO assists (Including our boy Felix)
Whoever we bring in…HAS to be able to create scoring opportunities. What we don’t need is anyone else with a skill set that is devoid of creativity
Oh I agreed, but
1.( Sorry i got of that conversation) so got 1. We haven’t conception for primary squadwhich one are primary squad formers
2. Most of players good thing done wothout have to do with it they used to do thing they aren’t supposed to do as usual – staying in front of goal with no idea for example or shooting the out line benches out there just in case , you know
3. Most of them are haven’t enough minutes inside
4. Am not advocate to noone but am realist
5. All squad is suffeing from alongside 1 2 3 and 4
I did expect him to flop, but not this badly.
I never had a high esteem for him and I consider him to be an overall failed product who was hyped thanks to that season with Benfica, but man I can’t believe how poor his contribution is.
We have youth players that can do better than felix. We have no excuse for not signing italians, if we waste money player like felix and emerson.

Seriously. Why does Conceicao keep putting him on the field?
One of the reasons might be he’s the one who really pushed for Felix’s move at the first place. Considering they share the same agent as well, and such.
