Fenerbahce president claims they paid ‘less than €3m’ to Milan for Krunic

Rade Krunic left AC Milan at the start of January to join Feberhace, six months after the Turkish side had first expressed their interest. There have since been some contradicting reports on the transfer fee, with the Fenerbahce president now chiming in.

Fenerbahce tried very hard to sign Krunic in the summer but Milan demanded €12m then, knowing that Ismael Bennacer would be out until December. And after the Bosnian lost his spot in the starting XI, not getting any playing time towards the end, the price tag decreased a lot.

As a result, Fenerbahce reached an agreement with the Rossoneri to sign Krunic last month, but the price tag was a bit uncertain. In the last few weeks, Italian sources such as MilanNews have been reporting that the loan with the obligation to buy is worth €4.5m.

However, Fenerbahce’s president Ali Koc held a press conference today and claimed that ‘Krunic was added to our squad for less than €3m’, as cited by Sports Digitale. The exact figures will become apparent once the balance sheet for the 2023-24 financial year is released by Milan in the summer.

Most of the Milan fans were happy just to get rid of Krunic, who experienced a significant drop in quality in the last few months at the club.

    1. 💯, he he pad anything he was robbed and should definitely not be letting it know publicly, especially after a few games when the fans see the real Krunic, taunt him for signing him

  4. It will be capital gain for Milan, because his transfer fee is bigger than ammortisation which dropped on 1,7 million before transfer.
Milan did good job because Musah, Ruben, Reijnders needed time for reintegration in the team. After they level up Krunic dropped in form. Obviously after injury and after Turkish salary offer.
