AC Milan are taking on Fiorentina this evening at Stadio Artemio Franchi, with the goal of making it four consecutive wins in the league. La Viola have not been brilliant at the start of this season, but it’s still a difficult task for the Rossoneri.
Paulo Fonseca has made just one change to the starting XI, throwing Alvaro Morata into the mix instead of the injured Ruben Loftus-Cheek. As such, the manager is relying on the usual players and whether they will succeed or not remains to be seen.

Our defense is not good. Tomori, Gabbia, Emerson, all completely average players, at best. Without Mike and Theo, we are in trouble.

Why the f is Theo taking that penalty? Pulisic should be taking our penalties. If he wants to give it up to someone else that should be his call. This is Theo trying to be a big shot.
I usually avoid being too critical in the comments, but what we have been seeing for almost the entire season from the Milan team is, to put it simply, deplorable! We are not a team, we generally leave the initiative to the opponent and wait for individual stars to do “that something”, and they are consistent and persistent only when they need to ask for a raise from the club. We only have 2 or 3 players that we can count on with certainty, but that is not enough against any more solid team.

I don’t see how u should out Pulisic and allow wasteful Abram and tired Morata played 90min. Jovic need more playing time in the league and stay more inside the box than Morata and Abraham.

What is happening with PKs. Was Puli mad just b/c of the sub or b/c of the PKs and not being allowed to take them? We need an explanation of how they decide to takes a PK. If Puli gave BOTH of them up, that’s okay I GUESS but you’d like Fonseca would veto that or something given the context of the match at the time. Very strange mood amongst the team, as soon as Chuck came in he was already arguing with a teammate. Leao has looked listless, almost like he has a panic attack every match. They are at risk of being bounced out of Serie A and UCL before xmas for the 2nd season in a row. Not really sure if firing Fonseca now would change any of that.

Yes, great captain material in Leao and Theo. The latter, looks disorientated the whole game, gives a penalty, misses one, get’s send off. Put the famous water break into this and you can wonder why on earth he is having the armband.. give the armband to Maignan, Morata or even Gabbia – then don’t give a xxxx who has played most games etc..
Tough match. Fiorentina hasn’t been good this season but yet we trailed deservdely at the break. Fonseca will say we are unlucky, but that’s not true. We are only good when chasing a result. There is no control or discipline in this squad nor coach.
