Fiorentina manager praises ‘important’ Milan loanee Adli: “A great dribbler”

Yacine Adli completed his initial loan move to Fiorentina a few days ago and he has already received great praise from his new manager. Indeed, speaking at a recent presser, Raffaele Palladino highlighted the midfielder’s impressive dribbling.

Adli was keen on staying at Milan this summer but due to the squad regulations, Milan were unable to include him on any of the lists (Serie A and Champions League). As such, he eventually caved and agreed to join Fiorentina on an initial loan.

The deal was announced a few days ago, with a €10m buy-out clause present for Fiorentina, and the manager Palladino is already excited. As transcribed by MilanNews, he highlighted how important the player could be for them.

“He is a strong player who played for Milan and comes from a great team. He has personality and is a great dribbler. He brings us technical quality, dynamism and unpredictability. He is an important player for us, we are happy to have him,” he stated.

The loan is believed to cost Fiorentina around €2m and while the rumoured obligation was swapped for an option, it was still an okay deal for Milan. If you want to see all the sales and loan exits for this summer, we have done an article on that.
