The five Milan players who are one yellow card away from a suspension

By Oliver Fisher -

There are five AC Milan players who must watch their step in view of the upcoming fixtures given that they are one yellow card away from suspension.

It is getting towards the time of the season where suspensions for key players could prove to be costly, especially for Milan who still have three head-to-head clashes against direct rivals for the top four spots.

It is the centre-back department that is a worry for Stefano Pioli because Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu, Malick Thiaw and Simon Kjaer would all pick up a one-game ban if they were to receive a yellow card. Ante Rebic is the other player at risk.

After the game against Roma away, the Rossoneri have the more manageable game against Cremonese at home to follow, then Lazio are after that next weekend.

A trip to Spezia follows the match against Maurizio Sarri’s side before a home game against relegation battling Sampdoria, then the season closes out with a trip to face Juventus away and Hellas Verona come to San Siro in round 38.
