Report outlines the five summer targets that Milan and Juventus share

AC Milan will do battle with Juventus on the field tonight with a top four place on the line, but they are also competing for five transfer targets in view of the summer.

According to Il Bianconero, which is part of La Gazzetta dello Sport’s network, the number one target on the list of both Milan and Juventus is Davide Frattesi. Sassuolo CEO Carnevali jokingly told him to study English with a view to a Premier League move, but Frattesi wants to stay in Italy. Juve, Milan and Roma are keen.

Then there is Gianluca Scamacca, who is described as being ‘tempting’ to both clubs because he could arrive on a loan with option to buy deal. After a very complex year, Scamacca is ready to return to Italy.

Empoli playmaker Tommaso Baldanzi is on the list of the Rossoneri and Bianconeri. While they do not want to sell, both clubs have seen the talent that the Italy U21 international possesses and want to beat the competition. Baldanzi, it is worth mentioning, is a boyhood Milan fan.

Marcus Thuram is a more ready-made profile, as he will leave Borussia Mönchengladbach on a free transfer. Milan and Juve are keeping an eye on his situation, with the opportunity to sign him on a free transfer being carefully evaluated. Inter are keen too, among other clubs.

Finally, Marco Asensio seems to be the top name on the Rossoneri list in case Brahim Diaz were to leave. Juventus have been watching him for a while now too, and it seems that he is destined to leave Real Madrid on a free.

    1. Yeah get Baldanzi instead of chasing after Brahim. Young, Italian and potentially very good, appears to be a better long term bet.

That he’s a Rossonero at heart is an added bonus, bit like Tonali even if he struggles early on he will fight as its the club he supported as a boy.
