Florenzi says Milan must ‘manage’ Genoa clash well amid lack of rest

By Isak Möller -

Ahead of the game between Genoa and AC Milan, Alessandro Florenzi briefly spoke to the media about the Rossoneri’s task this evening. He also shared his thoughts on his own performances.

The Italian veteran has done well lately and will be looking to impress Stefano Pioli this evening, playing from the first minute. Above all, however, he will be looking to help Milan add another three points to their tally.

Speaking to MilanTV, as cited by MilanNews, Florenzi shared his thoughts on the task at hand as well as his own positive run of form. He stated that he hopes his teammates will have a good moment tonight as well.

On the game…

“We haven’t had much rest and will thus have to be good at managing the match well. We must continue to do well in the league, we are facing a team which is in good form.”

You are in good form…

“Yes it’s true, let’s hope it’s the same for everyone after tonight.”

Milan have clinched 18/21 points thus far and could head into the break as league leaders, seeing as Inter drew their game against Bologna 2-2. It would indeed be a massive confidence boost for the Rossoneri.
