MN: Florenzi now a precious resource for Milan after a string of solid performances

By Oliver Fisher -

One player who is fighting for his place at AC Milan beyond the end of the season is Alessandro Florenzi, but he is certainly winning the management over.

MilanNews recalls how in the derby he was certainly one of the best performers but it was perhaps to be expected given that he has always been very consistent at a good level from the end of November, after having recovered from a lack of summer preparation and having disposed of the couple of injuries suffered at the beginning of the season.

Florenzi is now one of the leaders of Milan and he continues to make a valuable contribution, and he is hoping to help the Rossoneri aim for the Scudetto No.19. His contribution in the locker room has already been mentioned by several figures, and his performance in the derby says a lot about his character.

There is still the possibility of him playing as a winger with Calabria behind him, because he is a good crosser of the ball who would provide service for Giroud, but for now he just wants to be solid and available.

  1. Why not try florenzito service Giroud with crosses or long ball. Saele are trash in crossing and should be benched

    1. It’s amazing how poor the crosses are – especially from the right side. As an amateur player with +30 years of experience I can honestly say that even amateurs provide better crosses than the Milan right-siders. And years go by yet none of them develop their crossing accuracy. Why not? Call Beckham and ask how he became the best in business. Or read his book. Or read it here: he practised them. Over and over again. It’s really that simple. Dedication is the word.

  2. 442 :
    Calabria (Kalulu)-Kjaer (Gabbia)-Tomori-Theo; Florenzi (Saele)-Bennacer (Tonali)-Kessie (Baka)-Leao (Diaz), Giroud (Lazetic)-Rebic (Messias).
