CorSera: Florenzi to undergo surgery on knee again but his season is not over

By Oliver Fisher -

Alessandro Florenzi will go under the surgeon’s knife again today as he will have an operation to fix a problem with his meniscus.

According to what is being reported by il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), Stefano Pioli will have to do without Florenzi for a few weeks as he will be operated on in Rome today to fix the injury to his left internal meniscus.

The Rossoneri full-back will be out for about a month just like he was last time he had keyhole surgery on his knee, and will try to return for the last two or three games of the season to help the Scudetto push.

The pressure is now on Davide Calabria who has been up and down form wise in recent weeks, and it is likely that Pierre Kalulu will once again have the dual role of being the back-up right-back while the Roma loanee is on the sidelines.
