Galatasaray are continuing to press hard to try and convince Youssouf Fofana to join, and to persuade AC Milan to sell him.
According to Sky (via Calciomercato.com), the Turkish champions have offered the Frenchman a salary worth €5.5m net per season and a contract that would run for four years, so it is a significant offer with regards to personal terms.

A chance to double his money
However, on their website, Sky confirm the deal is ‘struggling to get off the ground’. Fofana is currently rejecting Galatasaray’s advances because he is not convinced about the idea of joining the Turkish club, who have representatives in Italy pursuing a series of objectives.
Fofana is clearly important to Massimiliano Allegri as he has made 17 appearances so far this season, almost all as a starter, scoring one goal and providing one assist. He assisted Christopher Nkunku’s late equaliser against Fiorentina, and is tipped to start against Como tonight.
Having arrived at Milan in the summer of 2024, Fofana signed a contract worth €3m net per season. He would earn nearly double that in Turkey, although there are no signs of an agreement at the moment, while he cost the Rossoneri €20m plus €3m in bonuses.
Even if he accepts this deal it’s obvious milan will sign rubbish to replace him it’s better he stays

I’d sell if the offer is right and he could be persuaded. He’s not as bad as people make out but he’s 27 – he’s basically complete, and there are far too many holes in his game for the role he plays. It’s a flip of a coin whether he’s going to do something great or utterly stupid.
Not being Europe robs us of the luxury of game minutes and need to rotate. If Ricci and Jashari are going to bed in they need to play – even if there is a period of pain. A fully fit Modric and Rabiot are undroppable so they need to share that third spot.
Sell him and bring back Kessie
Let’s wait till summer when we know where we are and what the club’s next target will be. I agree with Allegri that the club is okay as it is, even with the current back line, since it allows the others get play time.
Already, I don’t trust Allegri when it comes to rotating the players to give everyone the growth they need.
Maybe LFC can leave but he is not useless to the club atm.
