Watch: Fonseca-ball on full display in 33-pass move for Nasti’s goal vs. Man City

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are continuing to show glimpses of what Paulo Fonseca wants during preseason friendlies, and the winning goal against Manchester City on Saturday night was certainly very exciting.

The goal was scored by Marco Nasti but the move began all the way in the left-back position with Filippo Terracciano. What followed was a very patient display in keeping the ball.

The young goalkeeper Lorenzo Torriani was even involved, and a 33-pass move was finished by an Alexis Saelemaekers cut-back and Nasti’s first-time shot. As one X user replied, ‘Tutto bellissimo’.

That particular goal was one a of a few positive signs that emerged from the friendly, which ended up being a five-goal thriller which Milan edged 3-2.

    1. He’s only 20 mate.
If we wanted a backup, we should’ve kept 22 year old Colombo.
Let Nasti do his thing in Futuro, or go out on Loan again.
By 2026/27, all the kids will be ready.

  1. Most of the players involved in that goal will be gone by the start of the season so that was all worthwhile.
