Pioli in 5 years never had a problem with any player, meanwhile fonseca has had a problem with almost the whole squad in less than 6 months. There has to be a middle ground between the two. Have your players rust and love butt also make them aware they need to be professional and give their all. Fonseca is losing the team.
Pioli never had problem with the players because he could take the bullshit from these players. Not only Fonseca, even Conte, Sarri nor Allegri would accept the nonsense attitude some Milan players are exhibiting on the pitch.
I think he is losing also management, make no sense to my why no-one come to milanello when there are obvious problem and coach loudly talk about it .. I don’t think they all are at home and chilling when there are season existential problems..

After being carried to a Scudetto, he basically gave up coaching the team. We finished 5th place, with one of the top 3 worst title defenses in Serie A history. Saved only by Juventus being crooks.
