Footmercato: Milan begin process of extending talented youngster’s contract

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are attempting to extend the contract of talented Primavera defender Clinton Nsiala who has impressed under Ignazio Abate this season, a report claims.

As has been reported in France by Footmercato, the Rossoneri are aware that they have a very talented player on their hands and they want to ensure that he is not poached by another team.

His current deal will run out at the end of this season so the club want to secure his future. He is a player who has already trained with the first team on occasion and he is a contender to be brought into the mix in the near future.

For that reason, it is in his interest to stay with the club and continue this positive track of development that has seen him score against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Youth League.

The 19-year-old will soon be attracting attention from other clubs, so time is of the essence.

  1. Look they are good. But when Traore, one of our top primavera players isn’t even linked with a Serie A team for a loan, its not clear how they can break into the 1st team. It isn’t a Pioli thing. Aubameyang didn’t play under Ancelotti. Toldo didn’t play under Capello or Sacchi. And its not like Pioli does not play young players.

  2. Lol and people got upset with me when I said if i was Camarda I’d go elsewhere. It’s not that I don’t want to see him at Milan but to get into Milan it’s more likely to occur if you succeed elsewhere than come through the Primavera. Plus those other clubs esp in France develop their youth players much better than we do (as a club and league).

  3. It’s sad but it’s true camarda eletu simic chaka zeroli nsiala bozzolan bakoune all they need to go somewhere else because pioli wouldn’t use them look at Romero barteseghi. Even from professional players adli isn’t gonna play anymore just because krunic is sleeping with piolis granddaughter like wtf

  4. What the f is wrong with some of you guys, ac milan has subbed in a 17 year old bartesaghi 3 times this season and an 18 year old romero has been fielded as a sub as well in 4 serie a matches, what the hell do you expect that we should start them each or every 2nd match and add maybe 3–5 teens on top of that to please you at this point of the season after we only have played a combined 16 matches up untill now ? Get a grip on reality its a freaking ridiculous narrative you are trying to put forward here and this comes from a guy who have always been a fan of giving youths a chance but as things sounds from some of you we could just as well sell either half or the entire team and promote our primaveras as they are all ready for serie a football, Yeah right.
Fact is that most of all youth players are bound to fail.
Last year people was screaming for us to field el hilali all year long and where does he exactly play now ? yes the second best league in the netherlands and isnt even doing very well, hauge where is he now he is back at eintract frankfurt being a sub at 24 doin’ squat after a torrid season in belgium. Roback couldnt carve in a first team place either in fc nordsjælland or for that matter when he returned back to sweden on loan. We could keeo mentioning a long row of players that hasnt lived up to expectations, and ther ewill be far more in the future as well
If the talent, physique, readiness, calmness and maturity is great enough players will have their chance unless there are far better players ahead of them in the squad.
In the over 30 years ive been supporting milan i would say that there are very few of the “the one that got away” types of players aubameyang is one of those and we could have used some of those we let go in the year leading up to the banter era but besides of that nah not many is a great reason to cry about over leaving us.
