Footmercato: Milan one of multiple Serie A sides interested in Ligue 1 defender

AC Milan are very keen on signing RC Lens defender Kevin Danso but they are not the only Italian team that has expressed their interest in the centre-back, a report claims.

As has been reported by Sebastien Denis at Footmercato, the Rossoneri have joined Napoli in the chase for Danso and Fiorentina are also in the frame for the move.

Danso is part of the Ligue 1 team of the season as he has helped Lens to Champions League qualification, an incredible achievement for a team of their stature.

The 24-year-old has played 39 times this season for Lens and he is attracting a lot of interest from across Europe. There is a chance that Milan are going to accelerate on their interest soon, ahead of other teams.

Danso did recently speak to RMC about how he is doing at Lens, having arrived in Ligue 1 from Augsburg for €5.5 million.

He said: “I feel good here, there is a good atmosphere. You can concentrate 100% in football. We are a real family too. There’s really everything here, it’s really easy to progress, not only in football, but also as a person. I cannot control the future, but the present moment. We will see later, I prefer to focus on the present.”
