FootMercato: Milan tried to sway Nantes striker who has agreed to join Frankfurt

By Isak Möller -

Kolo Muani’s contract with Nantes will expire at the end of the season and AC Milan have been monitoring the situation for quite some time. However, they are now set to miss out on the striker, a report claims.

This season, the 23-year-old has scored seven goals for Nantes and since the Rossoneri are looking for a striker, he’s on their radar. After all, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud aren’t exactly getting any younger.

According to FootMercato, though, Muani has an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt and without any sensational twists, he will join them in the summer. Despite the interest of Milan and many other big clubs, he opted for the Bundesliga.

In the last few weeks, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara tried to sway the striker into joining them instead, but without success. Milan will thus have to look elsewhere for a striker to sign in the summer.
