FootMercato: PSG to meet with entourage of Chelsea midfielder to try and unlock deal

By Oliver Fisher -

Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko appears to be slipping from AC Milan’s grasp as Paris Saint-Germain seem to be the most serious about signing him.

The potential return of Bakayoko has become one of the longest and most drawn out sagas of the window, as it seemed that it would be a formality but Milan have not been able to agree a deal with Chelsea.

Reports of interest from Paris Saint-Germain has emerged from a number of different outlets over the past few days, and now Foot Mercato reports that the Ligue 1 giants will meet with Bakayoko and his entourage this week to try and close a deal.

It is PSG sporting director Leonardo who will be vital in concluding the operation, as it is he who is pushing to add a strong and physical player to the department.

Bakayoko is widely reported to have been keen on a move back to Milan, but PSG are his hometown club so it is unlikely he would reject that destination.
