AC Milan are expected to sign a midfielder this summer to make up for the departure of Franck Kessie. Renato Sanches has been mentioned a ton but as those have cooled down, Jordan Veretout is now once again an option.
The Frenchman, who currently plays for Roma, has been linked with a move to the Rossoneri ever since his Fiorentina days. He has ended up on their radar once again and it seems that the interest is serious.
According to FootMercato, Milan have informed Roma that they will soon table an official offer for Veretout. The 29-year-old has also ended up on Marseille’s wish list but as per the report, he would prefer a move to Milan this summer.
It remains to be seen if the report will be confirmed by Italian media as well, but it does make sense considering that the Sanches negotiation have seemingly died out. Milan still need a midfielder and Veretout might be the solution.
