FootMercato: Tottenham could hijack Milan’s pursuit of Bordeaux man – contacts initiated

By Isak Möller -

In the last week or so, AC Milan have been heavily linked with Bordeaux man Yacine Adli as they are looking to reinforce the midfield. However, it seems they could miss out on the youngster as Tottenham are watching on.

Just yesterday, Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reported that the Rossoneri haven’t given up on signing Adli despite the potential arrival of Tiemoue Bakayoko. However, they only want to commit at a low cost.

As reported by FootMercato, Tottenham could hijack Milan’s pursuit as they will be looking for a midfielder if Tanguy Ndombélé ends up leaving this summer. In fact, contacts have even been initiated between the parties.

It remains to be seen if Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will make a new attempt for the Bordeaux midfielder before it’s too late. However, as already mentioned, they will only do it on their conditions and you can understand why (budget reasons).
