FootyHeadlines: How Milan’s 2024-25 third and 125th anniversary shirts should look

By Euan Burns -

Details have emerged of AC Milan’s potential third kit for the 2024/25 season and the 125th anniversary shirt, with a familiar colour set to return.

The images have been leaked by Footy Headlines who think that the third shirt for next season will be in grey, a colour that Milan have worn in the past.

In the past, Milan have worn a grey shirt with red and black trim with the Opel Meriva sponsor on the front.

This time, they could wear a similar grey shirt but with mint green accents for more of a modern twist. The colours are officially called Shadow Gray and Fresh Mint. It will remind fans of the aforementioned shirt that was worn in the 2003/04 season.

Great players such as Kaka, Gennaro Gattuso, Andrea Pirlo, Daniel Maldini, Cafu and Andriy Shevchenko wore that shirt.

As for the other kit, Milan will celebrate 125 years of history on December 16 this year, and the modern way dictates that a commemorative kit must be released.

Puma gave fans the opportunity to help design the kit which would be worn for one game by the men’s and women’s senior teams. It is expected to have thin horizontal stripes rather than thick ones, whilst the St. George’s cross should feature on the crest.

  1. Remember, it’s not St George’s cross, it’s Sant Ambrogio, patron saint of Milano – if I’m not very much mistaken.

  2. “Great players such as Kaka, Gennaro Gattuso, Andrea Pirlo, Daniel Maldini, Cafu and Andriy Shevchenko wore that shirt.”
