Former Milan star Kevin-Prince Boateng admits he is dreaming of Rossoneri return

By Oliver Fisher -

Midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has admitted that his strongest desire is to return to AC Milan before his career ends.

The ex-Ghana international made over 80 appearances for Milan across two different spells at the club, and was a part of the side that won the Scudetto back in 2010-11 and enjoyed many memorable European nights.

The 33-year-old is owned by Fiorentina but is currently playing at Turkish side Besiktas on loan as he heads towards the end of an illustrious career that has seen him play for the likes of Tottenham, Dortmund, Schalke and Barcelona.

Boateng spoke to Sportweek about what the future holds for him including his desires between now and retirement, with MilanLive transcribing his comments.

“I would like to end my career at Hertha Berlin , it all started there. To end with an applause in midfield at the Olympiastadion, is my goal. But if you ask me where I would like to go back, I say to Milan, always and only there,” he revealed.

It is not the first time that the Ghanian has revealed his love for the Rossoneri, and with the team potentially in need of midfield depth and experience in the summer, a return perhaps cannot be completely ruled out.
