AC Milan are looking for a new sporting director and it would appear that they are looking at Domenico Teti, formerly of Wolves.
The search for a sporting director is certainly dragging on a little. It seemed Milan were done in their search, with Markus Krösche getting closer. However, there was a U-turn there and now they have returned to looking around for someone new.

There are plenty of names flying around, but now a new one has joined the list.
Milan looking at former Wolves man
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, via MilanNews, contacts have begun with Teti, who was formerly the sporting director of Wolverhampton Wanderers. However, he has previous experience in Italy with Hellas Verona and Sampdoria.
With Wolves, he oversaw a positive spending of €3 million last summer, despite making several high-profile sales. Indeed, Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri both departed, which contributed to €110m worth of sales.
The additions weren’t great, either. Jorgen Strand Larsen’s arrival can be overlooked, with it being a previously agreed clause and barring that, it was not a great summer, as seen by their season.
He is not to blame for their relegation this season, suggesting so would be harsh. However, the stars weren’t replaced properly, that much cannot be ignored.

Wolves…….sheesh
Yeah, the Wolves got relegated.
So, great resume there!
It’s going to be Kirovski, I’m telling you
I’ve had a bit of a soft spot for Wolves since the early 1990ies when they had Steve Bull who every year bagged 30-40 goals pr. year in the Championship while competing with Tranmere who had John Aldridge also bagging large amounts of goals as well. When that is said it doesn’t really gives me any confidence hiring a guy who oversaw a team that now has been relegated to the Championship.
Fun fact about Steve Bull he pretty much played his entire career for Wolverhampton and had many offers from higher ranked and honored teams but chose to stay with them. He even was called up to the 1990 world cup for England when Wolves was still in the 3rd best league. Absolutely incredible if anyone asks me 🙂 Miss those days.
Why should we expect anything less than a clown show?
Former Wolves and now he’s at Sampdoria
F Sampdoria
We are so cooked bro they don’t know what they are doing I already saying that but people called me crazy.
Where is Milanezi?
Why not the Ozek guy?
Why they only trying for an easy solution.
And if it’s true they can bring Galliani and Maldini
Where are the numbers/successes he did in his career from a relegation side to relegation side.
We are so cooked like I said we don’t even know it
Dude,
Cardinale is winging it.
We contacted people and they have turned us down because why wouldn’t they, right ?
We went from a high pressure coach (Iraola) to contacting possession type coaches (Xavi, Slot ?) to then a counter type of coach (Glassner) only to end with Amorim because Krösche apparently recommended him only then not landing him or Rangnick.
Also, Cardinale would never call Maldini back, forget about it.
They’re going to call Tim Curry (Kirovski).
Nooo Vero don’t mess with Tim Curry, loved his Pennywise portrayal 🙂
Sid Haig’s Captain Spaulding also comes as one of my favorite movie clowns 😀
Lol, sorry Tim Curry!
😀
OMG this is depressing….
Starting to reach the bottom of the barrel now lol 😂
DiMarzio is as reliable as an erection of a 90yo.
He’s had misses, but the guy is among the few relatively reliable sources out there, primarily because he has connections with managers and agents.
And what’s with all the hate towards media around here? If everything they write is unreliable, rage bait or whatever, why is the clown show they’re describing happening for real?
maybe with other clubs, but milan stuff he’s as reliable as 90 year olds erection lol. moretto is the best but even him screwing up this mercatto.
Lord save us!
