Formula explained as Milan battle Napoli in pursuit of €60m Real Madrid man

As Zlatan Ibrahimovic could leave at the end of the season, AC Milan are scanning the market for potential replacements. Luka Jovic seems to be one of the players on their wish list, if the latest reports are true.

Waiting to understand if the season will be resumed, Real Madrid are searching for a striker on the market, as reported by Mundo Deportivo. Therefore, after failing to impress, Jovic’s future could be far from the Bernabeu.

With just 15 games and two games under his belt this season, the Serbian has been far from a success. However, he still has a market thanks to the quality he showcased while at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Napoli seem to be the most interested, as the report continues, but league rivals Milan have joined them in the race. Furthermore, a few German clubs are keeping tabs on the 22-year-old striker.

Real Madrid paid €60m for Jovic last summer and they don’t want to make a big loss on a potential sale. Therefore, the main option remains a loan deal, perhaps with an option to buy in favour of the Rossoneri.
