Eintracht Frankfurt chairman denies contact with Milan over Krösche: “No signs he wants to leave”

Despite things seeming advanced for AC Milan and Markus Krösche, it would appear that there is still a way to go for the German.

There has been plenty said in recent days about Krösche and his potential future at Milan. He wants complete control and with a ‘Head of Football’ role, this would imaginably be on the table. Of course, the fact that he could hire his own technical director says a lot.

However, despite reports this morning suggesting that a deal was close to being finalised, if not already being done, it would appear there is still a big obstacle in the way.

No contact from Milan

As MilanNews relays, Mathias Beck, the chairman of the supervisory board of Eintracht Frankfurt, spoke to BILD about the situation and he confirmed that there had been no movement.

“No one from AC Milan has contacted us regarding Markus Krösche . And we, as the executive board of Eintracht, after having spoken with Markus Krösche, have no signs that he wants to leave Eintracht before his contract expires in 2028.”

Of course, negotiations can happen before official steps are taken. So, a deal can still happen. However, it may not be as close as anticipated.
