After weeks of negotiations between AC Milan and Atletico Madrid, it seems that an agreement might have been struck for Angel Correa, who is destined to leave the Spanish side this summer.
The Spanish side are on the verge of completing a €60m deal for Valencia’s Rodrigo, and thus need to sell Correa in order to gather funds. Therefore, as it seems, negotiations with the Rossoneri have accelerated.
According to the Argentinian journalist Cristian Camiño, a deal has almost been closed at €55m. As a result of this, Correa’s agent has travelled to Europa in order to complete the transfer for his client.
However, confirmation is still lacking from Italy, perhaps because of all the twists and turns the negotiations have had in recent weeks. In any case, it seems that Milan are getting closer to their main target, who is very keen on starting an adventure at San Siro.
