From Brazil: Milan and Juventus battling for Santos teenager who could leave for €10m

AC Milan and Juventus are competing to sign young Santos striker Kaio Jorge and have meetings planned over a deal, according to a report.

A report from UOL Esporte in Brazil writes that the future of Jorge remains unknown as the chances of a renewal are increasingly complicated while his contract expires in December. The 19-year-old striker, who has 15 goals and 3 assists in 72 games for Santos, has been the constant target of enquiries from European clubs.

The source mentions that Juventus are still keeping an eye on the situation, but now they have to deal with strong competition from Milan, with the rival clubs expected to schedule meetings to discuss a possible agreement.

Both the player and his representatives are expecting a sale in the European summer mercato because they want to guarantee a financial income for Santos, with an asking price of €10m set. In the current season, he has played 21 games and scored 6 goals in all competitions.
