From France: Milan maintain interest in Ivorian defender; PSG also keen

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still interested in Spurs full-back Serge Aurier but face fresh competition, according to a report.

Reports have suggested that Aurier would be open to a fresh opportunity elsewhere after failing to establish himself in Tottenham’s starting consistently since his arrival from PSG.

Milan have been linked with a move for the Ivory Coast international amid doubts over Andrea Conti’s future at the club.

Werder Bremen and Parma are apparently interested in the full-back, but an update on Tuesday suggested that the Rossoneri are in fact not interested in signing Aurier as Conti is going nowhere.

Despite this, French outlet Le10Sport (via Calciomercato.com) suggest otherwise, claiming that the Spurs defender is in fact in the Rossoneri’s ‘orbit’.

A sale of Conti – be it to Parma or to Germany – would be needed to make the interest concrete, while Paris Saint-Germain are apparently also considering a reunion with Aurier.
