Ismael Bennacer arrived at AC Milan from Empoli last summer for a fee of about 16 million euros and after a difficult start to his career at the San Siro, the Algerian has impressed greatly under coach Stefano Pioli, attracting interest from various clubs across Europe.

And one of these clubs is also Paris Saint-Germain, led by former Rossoneri technical director Leonardo. As reported by Le10Sport in France (via milannews.it), the Ligue 1 champions presented an offer of 40 million euros to Milan for the 22-year-old midfielder.

However, according to the same source, Milan refused the offer, asking for more money, but above all because of the refusal of the player himself who confided to people close to him that he had no intention of leaving the club.

Bennacer is convinced that Milan is the ideal club for his professional growth at the moment and wants to be a protagonist this season, helping the Rossoneri to achieve their great goal of Champions League qualification.
